S.E.B. has been providing private security services for over 20 years. We offer a full range of security guard services which are ideal for any business as well as any environment. S.E.B. Safe Environment Business Solutions, Inc. is fully insured and licensed, and is a member in good standing of the National Retail Federation (NRF), the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS), and the Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS). We employ only licensed, state certified security personnel, with strict adherence to clients specified hiring practices. Including; comprehensive criminal background check, detailed personal background assessment, and credit analysis.

Uniformed Armed and Unarmed Guards

Whether your need is uniformed unarmed or armed guards, our staff are some of the most experienced and well trained in the security industry. Our officers are fully trained and State licensed, and our hiring standards are some of the strictest in our business. We constantly monitor and evaluate our personnel on a continuous basis. We also continually work at having unsurpassed management support and supervision programs that ensures the quality of our work. We currently provide unarmed and armed uniformed guard services to some of the most well respected businesses and organizations across North America.

Off-Duty Law Enforcement Officers

Armed security officerS.E.B. maintains a large roster of off-duty police officers ready to assist in any need. We have access to police officers from some of the largest and most well respected public law enforcement agencies in the country. All of our officers are experienced and trained to handle any situation.

Mobile Response Team (MRT)

Our MRT Program offers businesses an affordable option of patrolling multiple store locations while decreasing the labor costs associated with placing guards at each individual store.

Our program has been designed to actually reduce guard expenses by assigning our units to high manpower usage stores that are geographically suitable in location to one another. These units are dispatched and supervised by the stores management in the event of a specific issue of need or assistance. In addition to patrolling the outside perimeters of each store, our officers are to also sign in to assure the stores management of the time and regularity of his/her physical presence at each store location. While the MRT unit’s primary function is to provide security enforcement; they are also to be utilized by the stores management as an additional resource to help address other security/safety issues that may occasionally need their assistance.

Our vehicles are operated by off-duty Law Enforcement officers who are familiar with each location in which they are assigned to patrol, which in turn ensures a quick response to store locations. All of our vehicles are fully equipped with all necessary communication equipment that also includes an assigned Nextel telephone to ensure immediate communication contact from client to officer at all times. We utilize only well maintained vehicles that have been outfitted with all the necessary equipment for our officers to do their jobs properly. All of our vehicles are purchased and owned by S.E.B. at no cost to our clients. Our customers who utilize this service are convinced of its effectiveness, as well as, its positive results to their security budgets.

Executive/Celebrity/Dignitary Protection – Bodyguard and Chauffeur

S.E.B. has been providing executive protection for over 15 years. Our staff is all licensed professionals who have been highly trained and are skilled at paying close attention to the smallest of details. We employ only those professionals who understand the special care that comes with these types of responsibilities.

Temporary and or Holiday Emergency Coverage

S.E.B. is prepared to cover any unexpected situation that may require a sudden need for our services. We have located our offices in some of the largest metropolitan areas in the country and are well organized to manage any temporary need whether it is responding to an emergency or a planned service request. S.E.B.’s security staff is trained to provide local coordination, support or manage of nearly any temporary or emergency service request at any time day or night.

S.E.B. Shoplifting Response Team (SRT) Loss Prevention Program

Our SRT teams are specifically trained to assists retailer’s loss prevention programs in the avoidance, apprehension and recovery of stolen merchandise from shoplifting offenders.

As trained apprehension specialists, our unit members are qualified to provide retailers with skilled and experienced licensed professionals who have been trained to prevent, detect and apprehend shoplifters. All SRT unit members must pass a comprehensive background check as well as participate in regular quarterly client specific training sessions if they are to remain on a paid scheduled. Our program also provides a supervisor and a shoplifting response team coordinator to monitor and manage all SRT activities and act as a point of contact for our retail customers. In addition, unit members are assigned cell phones and the electronic reporting equipment to efficiently and effectively report all apprehensions, and then communicate that information in real time with all LP management.

All SRT apprehension reports are securely stored electronically on line which allows retailers quick and easy access at anytime day, or night, 365 days a year. SRT apprehension reports include color photos as well as charts, graphs and spreadsheets that clearly illustrate key information that is essential to LP management. Simply put, our competitors currently do not offer anything close to our electronic reporting capabilities and data gathering. Our electronic reporting system is designed to stand alone and/or complement a retailer’s existing loss prevention reporting systems - not replace it. At no additional expense to our clients, all of our unit members are assigned cell phones and electronic reporting equipment to effectively communicate with all LP management regardless of their location or the time of day.

S.E.B. continues to research and develop smarter approaches to better assist our retail clients with decreasing elevated product losses in various retail markets that is caused by dishonest customers and or professional shoplifters (boosters).

Quality Control

Regularly scheduled and surprised inspections are performed at all of our service locations by our account managers/field inspectors. Continuous site inspections and regular monthly training sessions serve to identify and remediate any service deficiencies before our level of service is ever compromised. S.E.B. compliance managers have the ability to provide monthly licensure status reports for all of our personnel and can also provide regularly scheduled service evaluations to ensure that our clients are satisfied with our efforts and the overall quality of service.

In addition to each individual State licensing requirement; S.E.B. utilizes the “Pass III Survey” (Personal Assessment System), which is administered to each and every applicant. The survey is a character assessment that seeks to measure the relative positive and negative characteristic levels that an applicant may pose on the job, which is based on the applicant’s attitudes towards various situations and circumstances relative to trustworthiness, alienation/work ethic, and the use of drugs and or alcohol. All of our officers go through an in-house training program that includes; site orientation, site-specific functions and responsibilities, emergency course of action plan, and public relations.

Training and Education

All of our security staff is all thoroughly screened well trained, appropriately licensed, and qualified.

In addition to individual mandatory State licensing requirements, S.E.B.'s training managers examine existing client standard operations procedures (SOP), and develop appropriate on-site lesson plans which utilize Power-Point presentations, industry literature, and realistic training methods that provide the officer with practical experience that they can utilize on the job. Testing is also utilized using a combination of computer based questions along with hands-on visual assessments. We maintain, as well as make available, these records to our clients.

All of our officers must successfully complete an in-house training program that includes; site orientation, site-specific functions and responsibilities, emergency course of action plan, and public relations. Our officers are taught to always use sound judgment and respect while ensuring the best interests of our clients and their customers is always protected regardless of the situation or circumstance.
